"Successful Relationships Between Managers and Administrative Professionals"

Bring a co-worker, a friend or a high school senior planning to enter the business world next year for this exciting meeting! Matthew Macdonald from OfficeTeam will be with us to update us on this important area. One of the keys to building strong teams is maintaining effective work relationships between administrative personnel and the people they support. But do supervisors and administrative professionals agree on what makes a good partnership? OfficeTeam and IAAP conducted a survey of managers and support staff to find out. This presentation highlights the survey findings and offers insight into issues that affect today's administrative professionals, including how to enhance communication, ensure optimal use of tools and resources, and prepare for increased responsibility.

"How Do I Do This….In Excel?"

Meeting attendees will move from the Community Room following dinner to Salem Cyberspace for a classroom discussion and hands-on experience with a Salem Cyberspace instructor who will answer our questions concerning procedures in Excel. As Salem Cyberspace's classroom has only 13 workstations, any attendee with access to a laptop computer is welcome to bring it and we will double up otherwise where necessary. We will ask that questions be submitted in advance of the meeting.
