Julie Howland
President

Julie’s history with the North Shore Community College began in 1981 when she was a Work-Study Student. From that she went on to full time work with the College in 1984. She became an Administrative Assistant for the College in 1985, working primarily in the Student & Enrollment Services area. Julie served as Chapter Treasurer for chapter years 2006-2007 and 2007-2008. When not working, Julie spends much of her time with her grandchildren, family and friends; she also enjoys music, dancing and karaoke.


Nancy Emmons
Vice President

Nancy has been an Administrative Assistant in the U.S. Equity area of a Boston-based International investment management firm since 2002. Her past service with IAAP included Presidency of the North Shore Chapter for chapter years 2006-2007 and 2007-2008, and Presidency of the Greater Boston Chapter for chapter year 2005-2006. She is Chairman of the "Administrative Professionals Week Committee". She was awarded the Chapter Builder pin for assisting Gerry Brunell in setting up the North Shore Chapter. Along with IAAP, her interests include genealogical research, reading and her three cats, Dudley, Daisy and Daphne.


Ruth Titelbaum
Treasurer

After earning a BA in Economics, Ruth established herself as the Executive Assistant to the Chairman of a Boston-based finance company. She has since taken on a new challenge as the Compliance Administrator for a national retail company. Ruth joined the North Shore Chapter in August 2007. She and her husband David reside in Peabody.


Shirley Warren
Secretary

Shirley has been an Executive Assistant with ZymeQuest, Inc., a biotech company, since 1999 and lives in Topsfield. She served as temporary secretary of the North Shore Chapter from February through June of 2008 before being elected Chapter Secretary. She is a member of her church choir, enjoys cooking, and is an avid Red Sox fan.
